Screened first-round pick Sharife Cooper signs footwear deal with Adidas
Screened first-round pick Sharife Cooper announced on Friday that he had signed a shoe endorsement deal with Adidas, becoming the second known candidate this year to join the apparel company.
Cooper joins Jalen Green as the first two draft-class players to join the Three Stripes. They join a roster of talented players, which includes James Harden, Candace Parker, Damian Lillard, Chiney Ogwumike, Anthony Edwards and Liz Cambage, among others.
Cooper, who is expected to be a first-round pick, was named to the SEC All-Freshman squad after averaging 20.2 points, 8.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and one steal in 12 games with Auburn. He was one of seven players to average at least 20 points and eight assists over the past 25 years.

Cooper plans to be a coveted goalie in the draft given his speed and ability to find teammates on the pitch. Offensively, he has the skills to create himself while using his athleticism to reach the rim and make contact.
With Cooper and Green in the fold, Adidas seems to be off to a good start with the new class of players. They each plan to have a bright future in the NBA and will be an integral part of marketing the next wave of Adidas products.
