Kylie Jenner wears a mini dress and mules for a hot date with Travis Scott – Footwear News
Kylie Jenner showed off her sleek style on a date with boyfriend and rapper Travis Scott. The sought-after superstar duo took a night off parental leave to dine at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif., on Sunday night.
Despite the hot summer weather, Jenner opted for a black PVC mini dress for the evening. The long-sleeved silhouette featured a pointed v-neckline, softly gathered bodice and thumbholes.
To elevate her look, the makeup mogul covered her eyes in futuristic black shades. She styled her signature black tresses into a bun and carried her must-haves in a sequined square clutch. Jenner also added small silver hoop earrings and kept her glam simple with her neutral matte pout.
Scott stayed true to his signature streetwear aesthetic, stepping out in a gray graphic T-shirt with lightly faded ripped jeans. He accessorized with a bold diamond chain and a studded belt. For footwear, the “Sicko Mode” artist completed her look with a pair of white and gray Air Jordan 1 sneakers.
Jenner continued with a monochromatic moment finishing her ensemble with a pair of mules. The shoe style featured a pointed open toe and was set on a chunky pyramid heel. Mules are shoes that feature an open back without any type of strap or restraint on the heel. Mules were first popularized in the 17th century as bedroom slippers, then came into fashion thanks to the wealthy women of the French court. The style can feature a variety of heel heights, with closed toe mules often featuring flat soles while open toe varieties often feature high heels.
When it comes to her shoe style, Jenner tends to stick to trendy heels and cool sneakers. She has been seen in styles ranging from square toes to PVC material to strappy stilettos from brands including Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino. Her kicks are usually from Nike and Air Jordan, but she wore styles from Adidas and Puma a few years ago when she was a brand ambassador for sports companies.
