Whether you’re an avid runner or someone who likes to walk briskly at home and on the go, a good pair of running shoes is essential. The Puma Run XX Nitro running shoes are made with breathable mesh uppers to keep your feet cool, along with lightweight foam midsoles that provide responsive cushioning. There are also removable insoles which I like, although if you prefer to add your own orthotics you can certainly do so. The fact that the insoles are removable also allows them to be removed and washed to keep your shoes fresh (a must if you’re going to be putting them through their paces all summer long).

I love the cushioned feel of the shoes, literally giving me a spring in my step, as well as a secure fit. To top it all off, the deep orchid, metallic silver and black colorway is gorgeous, and it adds a bold pop of color to my typically neutral activewear.

Living in New York City, I walk constantly, so when I go out to explore my neighborhood or stroll through Prospect Park in Brooklyn for exercise, I’m always confident that sore feet will be the least of my worries when wearing these shoes. .
