Capital Humane Society Receives $60,000 Grant | Pets
BOBS by Skechers, the charitable brand of footwear company Skechers, partnered with Petco Love, a national nonprofit organization, to recognize the Capital Humane Society of Lincoln on June 18 with a $60,000 grant to invest in its rescue efforts to protect and save shelter dogs and cats.
The surprise check celebration took place at an adoption event at Skechers’ Lincoln warehouse, where the organizations also encouraged members of the local community to provide loving homes for animals in need.
Skechers’ BOBS and Petco Love encouraged pet adoptions during National Foster a Pet Month in June by hosting adoption events and surprising organizations with grants at Skechers retail stores across the country. As of June 30, they have invested a total of $185,000 to support animal welfare partner organizations across the country affiliated with Petco Love, such as Capital Humane Society. This year, Skechers’ BOBS has donated more than $382,000 to organizations whose efforts provide safety, food and love for the animals they rescue — and more than $8 million over the past few years. last seven years.

Skechers customers can also contribute by rounding up their purchases at Skechers outlets nationwide to help Petco Love save dogs and cats from shelters.
